What Changes are Anticipated for the 2014 Nissan Frontier?

The 2014 Nissan Frontier is expected to receive a modest refresh though the vehicle should not change dramatically. The truck’s overall length and wheelbase will likely remain as is, and the Frontier should continue to be offered in extended King Cab versions with narrow clamshell-opening doors and small flip-up back seat cushions, and Crew Cab models with four conventional doors and a full back seat. The 2014 Nissan Frontier should continue to ride low enough to the ground to afford easy access, but retain sufficient ground clearance for those who like to venture off-road. As before, the truck should share its sturdy traditional body-on frame architecture with the Nissan Titan full-size pickup and midsize Xterra SUV.

We’ll probably see bolder-looking exterior styling, a richer-looking interior, a few new convenience features and assorted mechanical improvements to help boost the vehicle’s fuel economy while preserving its current levels of performance and utility. An off-road-ready PRO-4X model will likely remain in the lineup.
